About Pellescura 1464

PELLESCURA 1464 was born at the meeting point of East and West –where Italy and China, art and architecture, tradition and contemporary life intersect.

We are a cross-cultural art and space studio, bringing together painting, spatial thinking and craft into one practice. Each work carries the rhythm and restraint of Italian aesthetics, and the depth and inner vision of Chinese cultural thought –handcrafted, quietly enduring, marked by human emotion and the passage of time.

Our aim is simple and very clear:

To create works and spaces that truly carry a soul,
so that art is not only seen, but becomes part of how we live.

Our Artistic Language

PELLESCURA treats painting like architecture.
Grids, color fields and fragments build an inner structure, where geometry carries identity and memory across cultures.
The result is a slow, hand-crafted language of images – calm at first glance, quietly complex underneath.

Structure. Geometry. Memory.

Art × Space Practice

PELLESCURA 1464 is not only about creating works that can be hung on a wall.
We explore how an artistic language can enter architecture and lived spaces.

Building on BUSSOLA.AM’s experience in architecture and interiors, we extend PELLESCURA into real projects:

  • shaping the overall artistic atmosphere for homes, hotels, dining and cultural spaces
  • planning how large-scale works and art walls sit within the architectural structure
  • curating and sourcing materials, custom furniture, lighting and crafted pieces
  • working alongside architects and contractors to bring concepts into built reality

Our practice has entered mountain villas, boutique residences, urban hotels and fashion-related spaces.
Each project is a new experiment in how the PELLESCURA language can inhabit a place

STORIES OF ART & DESIGN

Our Journal is an open notebook of our practice – a place where we record:

  • how a series evolves from first sketch to final painting
  • workshops, materials and architecture that inspire us
  • memories of Orsoni mosaics, Venice and the language of color
  • life and work between Armenia, Italy and China

It is both a behind-the-scenes view of the studio and another key to understanding the inner world of PELLESCURA.
