Fabbrica di Murano
Fabbrica di Murano
A still life rewritten as geometry, vases, openings and soft volumes reduced to layers of color and hand-crafted glass mosaic textures. The composition suggests use and ritual, yet remains open - a catalogue of objects that refuse to be fully named, but are certain to be unrepeatable.
Medium: Acrylic on canvas · 100 × 100 cm · 2025

Inspiration
Inspiration
Visiting the Murano island in Venice & the the Glass museum opened in 1861 and travels through centuries of glass making inspired me for this work . This museum houses the most comprehensive collection of Murano glass in the world. The exhibits are in chronological order, beginning with the Roman era. Here you will learn how the Romans and Byzantines created glass objects, and how the craft came to Venice and eventually Murano.

Vintage Plaster Base (Fresco-inspired)
To create an authentic vintage presence—distinct from any print—we build a plaster-like ground and work through controlled pigment mixing. The base breaks the flat canvas plane, producing patina, depth, and tactile relief.
Our research began with the fresco surfaces of Pompeii, where time becomes part of the image. The result is a handmade finish with undeniable material reality.
