Casino di Venezia
Casino di Venezia
This portrait treats identity as strategy—an arrangement of signs, probabilities, and deliberate concealments. Against gold, the figure reads like an icon of appetite, discipline, and risk : a calm face built from coded fragments, where desire and control negotiate in public.

Inspiration
Inspiration
Venice’s Casino di Venezia—the Venice Casino is founded in 1638, it is recognized as one of the oldest gambling establishments in the world. The casino's initial purpose was to provide a supervised gambling venue during the Carnival season. Over time, it evolved into a year-round institution, offering an elegant setting for nobles and commoners alike. Its longevity is a testament to Venice's enduring love of culture, leisure, and the arts.

Vintage Plaster Ground (Fresco-inspired)
To create an authentic vintage presence—distinct from any print—we build a plaster-like ground and work through controlled pigment mixing. The base breaks the flat canvas plane, producing patina, depth, and tactile relief.
Our research began with the fresco surfaces of Pompeii, where time becomes part of the image. The result is a handmade finish with undeniable material reality.
